OUR INVITATION WINNERS

We had to design an invitation for our concert next week.   Mrs Kenyon awarded some prizes this afternoon for the ones the teachers decide best meet the criteria of being colourful, neat and tidy, and had an appropriate design.

Congratulations to these wonderful artists....

Isabella Plays Violin

We were very honored to have Isabella come in and play her violin for us this morning.  Isabella started learning the violin 4 years ago.  She is a very clever girl and it was wonderful to have such a clever musician in our class.

Mrs Kenyon and Isabella showed the class what the D and G notes sounded like when played together.  We are learning about families of instruments so were pleased to have 2 'string' instruments in class at the same time.

MRS KENYON'S DEBUT CONCERT!

Mrs Kenyon has been learning to play the guitar!  She already knows the D and G chords,  Today she performed a song for us.

Mrs Kenyon asked us if we would like to help her learn the guitar and maybe we could all put on a concert!

We thought that sounded like a great idea!  We'd love to be rock stars!

So we took a bit of time to WONDER about everything we would need to do to be ready for the concert!  We brainstormed all our questions and then we shared our ideas with the rest of the class.
